I'm baaack!
Since we taped the whole weekend, I'm not gonna write a long emotional post, because I promise you that when I finally get my new video editing program I will edit the videos together and you'll see both laughter and tears (and Yvan Rodic's look alike too!) live.
But shortly about the trip.
We sailed to Helsinki on Friday and my menu that evening looked something like this:
Starter:
Chocolate cake with chocolate ice-cream, chocolate mousse and tirmisu, covered with chocolate candies
Pizza
Fries with meatballs
Tons of salmon
Some salad
And as you may guess, I didn't make it till main course and dessert...
After that, both me and Britt promised we'll never eat again. That promise lasted until we both arrived at our apartment and found out there was a HUGE bowl of candies in our room. And what's even worse, it refilled itself! Literally, you ate half of the fillings and few moments later there was twice as much as when we first saw the bowl. Magic.
But about the first day then.
In the morning we went to the flea market which usually was located at the Hietalahti square, but since the winter season was still on, it took place in some ice hall. I don't even know if it was a good or a bad thing. It was larger and we spent twice as much money as usually...but you got TONS of neat things... (I'll show you the purchases in another post!)
After the huge flea market, we visited a smaller one. Boxes with old photographs were a hit, I spent so much time trying to peak into strangers' lives. We also went through the legendary bow-boxes and boxes filled with just random things.
The last stop was vintage boutique Nasta. We lef the store empty handed.

After the rough work of shopping, we went to the port and just walked around in the old town.
I'm baaack! (Soomest ostetud asjade kohta tuleb eraldi postitus, ma luban!) Peale suurt kirbuturgu, sõitsime siiki Hietalahtisse, sest olime sealt eelmine kord avastanud mingi maa-aluse turu, kus on alati väga palju põnevaid asju olnud. Seekordseks hitiks said vanade fotode kastid. Ma veetsin vist kuskil tund aega teiste inimeste vanu pilte vaadates.
