VIDEO - Video Message From Helsinki

Maybe you remember that after I got back from Helsinki, I told you that we shot lots of videos there. Our plan was to make one sort of like video diary for ourselves and one artsy cute mood video for the blog. Well, I finally finished with the second one and here it is! (Click on HD in the upper right corner to see the video at it's best)
Waving in the video: Merily and Britt
Singing in the background: Lisa Mitchell

Võibolla mäletate, et Helsingist tulles rääkisin ma midagi miljonitest videotest mida me seal olles filmisime.

ERKI

Yesterday I went to Erki fashion show. There were many collections that I liked, but there were some that made me think why were they selected there. Boring, seen before, bad quality.
On the managing side... I like the choice of location and the idea of silent show (there was no music on the show, the only sound came from earphones) was very unique as well, but the technical side was was was horrible. The sound came and went after every like 10 minutes and I didn't really get the feeling of a fashion show, because the music was so quet.
I loved the ballet show between the collections, but the performance that opened the show was just so wrong. At first, when a man in a pope costume started singing, it looked like it was going to be something good, but after what felt like for ever time passed and I had heard the phrase "How much does this cost?" toooo many times I turned off the earphones. At that moment, the idea of a silent show really
made its point.
About my outfit. I wore a dress that I started making the same morning and finished about 5 minutes before leaving for the show. If it had taken me more time I would have showed up at the show naked. I've talked about the shoes here before, they're eBay and the bag I wore is my usual quilted white bag, also from eBay.

Erkist natuke siis.
Kollektsioonide kohapealt... oli kollektsioone mis väga meeldisid. Kristel Laurits ja Pavel Grebenjuk, Kristi Pedanik, Mirjam Aasma, Kärt Hammer, EKA mood I kursus...

Tegelikult sellel hetkel mõjus silent show idee isegi põhjendatult.

Kihnu

Last Sunday I got a letter from a publishing company Herznote Verlag. They are publishing a magazine called CIRCUS Fashion and they asked if I would be interested in collaborating with them. Their main goal was to connect bloggers from all over the world to contribute toward the production of the magazine and my task was to sail to Kihnu island with their journalist and take pictures of the dresses of the Kihnu people.
As I said yes I found myself on the ferry to Kihnu Friday morning and me, the journalist Wesley and his girlfriend Nele visited the island, a museum and a traditional Kihnu home. I got some great pictures and you'll be seeing them in September when the magazine comes out but till then here are some pictures for you to get the essentials of the amazingly beautiful island.

Eelmisel pühapäeval sain meili kirjastuselt Herznote Verlag Saksamaalt.

Saku Spring Fair 2010

Today the annual Saku Spring Fair took place. It's the highlight of the year here because of the colourful Russian candies, cosmetics that smell nice but I'm too afraid to actually use, definitely the Russian lemonades as well with the price of $0,5 a bottle and the legendary fair slippers, shiny dresses and very very golden jewellery.
This year, just like |last year|, my catch was a bag of candies (didn't buy the apple slicer, though the the temptation was huge). I also got a cheap (but pretty) nail polish and some diy materials.

Beso

You know I love clothes and shoes and bags, but what comes right after my love for them are home appliances. My mother laughed till tears when I begged for a blender for my 14th birthday. And if you're like me and want to do all of your shopping in one place, Beso is the place for you. It is the online shopping destination that allows you to browse products at thousands of stores - from big name retailers to exclusive boutiques to the shop around the corner just waiting to be discovered. They have everything from Chloe coats to mineral makeup to Ralph Lauren bath towels and espresso machines so be sue to check them out.
What's even better is that they're having a contest at their blog and the price is this gorgeous KitchenAid Mixer (yes, I just called a mixer gorgeous! but it is!) Check out the details of the contest HERE.

Hea uudis? Beso blogis on hetkel võistlus parimale retseptile ja auhinnaks on- seesama imemasin. Võistluse juurde saad Siit.

Europe

Why hasn't Merily posted something for a week? Merily has stayed home with 39C fever and 35C hypothermia. Anyhow, I've been ill. But I still managet to drag myself to school on Friday and the be a model for Sälly and Kerli once again. This time the show took place in a hotel called Europe and the audience was...interesting... Since we had a lot of time to kill we walked on the promenade and it was beautiful. For the first time I felt like it was spring. No, it was like summer! After the show, since everybody had their oh so elegant elegant hooker makeup on, we decided to take seats at some terrace and everything around us made us feel like we were somewhere out of Estonia, in a lovely town in Europe somewhere. It felt amazing!
http://i43.tinypic.com/nx5eo1.jpghttp://i44.tinypic.com/ddn6sn.jpghttp://i43.tinypic.com/rbiret.jpghttp://i44.tinypic.com/2qxbzn4.jpghttp://i41.tinypic.com/f0dtgg.jpghttp://i44.tinypic.com/65pbtw.jpghttp://i41.tinypic.com/261hgef.jpghttp://i40.tinypic.com/9861ee.jpghttp://i41.tinypic.com/9kvyn8.jpghttp://i44.tinypic.com/21mramw.jpghttp://i43.tinypic.com/2dklojr.jpghttp://i41.tinypic.com/2ljpz7m.jpg
Jah, Euroopa tunne! :D
