London, Part I

I'm so glad we got lucky with the weather in London. Soaking in rain for a week is not my kind of vacation and I could leave my winter clothes home, which meant more space in the luggage shopping!
On the first days we tried to see as much you could in a week. All the main tourit spots like London Eye, Big Ben, Madame Tussauds etc. were in schedual. In NY we didn't visit the Ripley's museum, so we decided to go there as well. We managed to do so much, but in the evenings we were dead tired.

A walk at the Regent's park
-Oskar fell in love with squirrels and we had to spend at least few hours watching them jump and eat.
-Roses had cute names.
-I stole a mistletoe, put in in my bag and got stung by it a couple of times.

The London Eye
-The view was ah-mazing!
-An adorable little girl had a Union Jack handbag so I had to get one for my little sister as well.

Madame Tussaud's
-Old people look better in wax.
-It's so much fun taking pictures with every statue. Even though I'll probably never watch the pictures.

A walk arund the city
-Getting lost in London feels amazing. Really.
-Everything looks classier in London. The money, taxis, everything...
-London at night is even prettier than during the day!

Ma olen nii õnnelik, et meil Londonis ilmaga vedas. Nädal aega vihmas liguneda poleks väga lõbus olnud, aga peaaegu iga päev paistis päike ja talveriideid polnudki vaja kaasa võtta (mis oleks mu shoppamiseks mõeldud kohvrile väga liiga teinud).
Esimestel päevadel tegime nii palju sightseeingut, kui üldse võimalik on. Kõik põhilised kohad, Big Ben ja London Eye ja Madame Tussaud ja muu said läbi käidud. New Yorgis me Ripley'sse ei jõudnud, selle pärast tahtsime Londonis olles ka seal kindlasti ära käia. Nii palju jõudsime teha, aga veel rohkem ootas veel ees (mu eesmärk oli nädala jooksul nii palju näha, kui võimalik :D). Õhtuti olime alati surmväsinud.
