How to make a tutu without sewing!

This week is my last one at school and to celebrate that there is a tradition that for one day, we have to dress up as kids. I really wanted to wear a tutu, but couldn't find one, so I decided to make one myself.
Here's how to make one!
You'll need:
400x150cm tulle fabric
A rubber waistband according to your waist measurement

Decide how long do you want the skirt to be and measure twice as much fabric so when you fold it over, you'll have the lenght you wanted.

Cut the fabric to ~10cm wide strips. Precision is not very important here.

Loop the tulle strip over the rubber band.

And repeat. And repeat. Until you have the desired poofyness.

And this is how it will look! Congratulations, you've just made yourself a tutu skirt!

Täpne mõõtmine on siin kohal täiesti üleliigne.
